Abstract：With the promotion and application of new silkworm varieties'HuaKang'series in
China, all kinds of silkworm production flocked to join, and the bad have mixed with the
good, finally damage to the interests of farmers and breeders. To solve this problem, Specific-
Locus Amplified Fragment Sequencing (SLAF-Seq) technology was carried out on 15 different
silkworm varieties (7 of 15are resistant to BmNPV, while the rest 8varieties are susceptible
to BmNPV). 447 359 SNPs, which distributed on 28 chromosomes, were detected from all
samples after mapped to the reference genome. Bioinformatics analysis of all SNPs showed that
50SNPs located on chromosome 27may correlated to the BmNPV resistance. PCR validation
were then performed and showed the consistent with the SLAF-Seq results. The present identified
SNPs can be the molecular markers used to identify and discriminate of the 'Huakang'
series from the market.
